Dellanera RV Park

"⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dellanera RV Park As far as I know, this is the only RV park right on the beach in Galveston, and for that alone it earns 5 stars. It’s peaceful, private, and nobody bothers you. 🏖️🚐 Genuinely a great spot if you want beachfront access without the crowds. A few things to know before you go: Windows: Being right on the beach means your windows will constantly fog up, and on windy days you’ll get salt spray/splashes all over them. If you want to actually see out, be prepared to wipe them down daily. Just part of the beachfront trade-off. 🌊 Bathroom/shower house: This is where it loses points. There’s mold on the walls in the shower facility, which is disappointing considering there’s staff on-site all day who are supposed to be cleaning. It doesn’t seem like a deep-clean issue so much as basic maintenance — scrubbing the walls, opening a window for airflow — that’s being skipped. For a park charging what it does, this needs to be addressed. 🦠 A mix-up worth mentioning: We stayed a couple of weeks and had to switch spots at one point. While my husband was in the process of moving our trailer and belongings over, the cleaning staff reported to the office that we’d “left stuff behind” and tried to charge us a cleanup fee — even though we were actively mid-move. Thankfully the office staff came out, saw what was actually happening, and didn’t charge us. But it was an unnecessary headache that could’ve easily been avoided with better communication from the cleaning staff. It just really appears that the cleaning staff are the problem. Overall, the location is unbeatable and the peace and quiet is worth a lot. Just wish the bathroom facilities were kept up better and cleaning staff communicated more clearly before assuming the worst. Would still recommend for the beach access alone. 🏝️"

"Great Rv park with a very nice location. Rv spots are level and well maintained. Great beach access with walkover ramps to cross the dune between the park and the beach. Nice clubhouse, office, laundry, restrooms and showers. The only down side is the WiFi/Internet service. It is very unreliable and frequently goes off. Difficult to use a computer or stream your tv. Be very careful with your pets when walking them. The property is covered with sand burrs!"

"We stayed in an RV. We had a great time! We ate a restaurant called Queen's Barbecue - it was great! If you go try there gouda macaroni and cheese side dish!! It was delicious. I personally love their smoked turkey plate and it comes with 2 sides!!yum!"
